Overview

Samsung’s One UI 7, based on Android 15, began rolling out on April 7, 2025. It brings Galaxy AI features like AI Select, Writing Assist, and the new Now Bar from the Galaxy S25 series to older flagships, foldable tablets, and select A-series models. Users worldwide will see the update on different schedules—check Settings → Software update → Download and install on your device.

Galaxy S-Series Specifics

  • The S25 Ultra launched with One UI 7 onboard, while many of its exclusive AI camera and editing tools were backported to S23 and S22 models.

  • A brief hold on some S24 builds due to bugs was quickly resolved with a patched firmware update.
